Bio
Yena Kim is an associate at Lerner Poole & Stewart, LLP. She has been practicing family law exclusively since being admitted to the State Bar, providing both legal representation and consulting services. Her practice also includes domestic violence restraining order matters and drafting pre- and post-marital agreements. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in the practice area.
Ms. Kim graduated from UC Law SF in 2020. During law school, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Richard Darwin at San Francisco Unified Family Court and a summer law clerk at the Family Violence Appellate Project. She was also a staff editor for the Hastings Law Journal for two volumes, a teaching assistant for LRW I&II and Appellate Advocacy, and co-chair of the nationally ranked UC Law SF Moot Court team. As a competitor, she was awarded Best Oral Advocate at the 2019 Frank A. Schreck Gaming Law Moot Court Competition and has since returned as a coach for many competition teams.
