Bio

Salina is an associate at The Law Offices of Wendy Musell PC where she continues to represent workers and performs all aspects of litigation practices. Salina is an experienced Title IX advocate through her role as managing attorney at Equal Rights Advocates in the Advice & Counseling Program. There she provided advice and representation to students across the country who experienced gender-based discrimination. She was previously an associate attorney at Valerian Law, representing employees in negotiations and litigation in state and federal court and alternative dispute resolution forums.

Salina started her attorney career as a law clerk and later an associate at Levy Vinick Burrell Hyams, LLP, a plaintiff-side employment law firm, representing California workers experiencing discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination. She continued her work in plaintiff’s side employment law at Legal Aid at Work, representing workers experiencing pregnancy and lactation discrimination, denial of paid family leave, and other forms of protected leave on the Work & Family team. Salina’s experience working with diverse individuals and communities, and her familiarity with Critical Race Theory and Black Feminist Theory, inform her legal advocacy and approach to workplace harms. Salina received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 and her J.D. from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, where she completed a concentration in Social Justice Lawyering in 2022.
