Bio
David de Giles completed Law School at the University of Seville Spain, and then went on to receive a master’s degree in European Union Law at the University of Paris II (Pantheon-Assas), France. Mr. De Giles is a highly experienced program manager and rule of law expert with comprehensive justice reform and human rights expertise in civil law countries (Haiti, Cote d’Ivoire, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Guatemala). He works closely with local governments and international donors, coordinating activities and promoting effective public outreach and citizen engagement. David de Giles has 30 years of professional experience in international law, including 14 years as registered attorney and in-house counsel on regulatory compliance and litigation worldwide. He has a native fluency in Spanish and French, and is fully fluent in English.
