Patterson\, and Paul Robeson\, who submitted the petition聽We Charge Genocide聽to the United Nations in 1951\, and related historical links among Japanese\, American\, and Caribbean political activists. \n聽 \nHiroshi Fukurai聽is Professor of Sociology & Legal Studies at the University of California\, Santa Cruz & President of the Asian Law & Society Association (2018-2019).聽 Professor Fukurai specializes in lay adjudication\, Asian law and politics\, Original Nation Approaches to Inter-National Law (ONAIL)\, private international law\, and race and law.
